ALL PROJECTS FROM BASE BUILDING
Neiman Marcus Hudson Yards
Neiman Marcus, a department store that sells luxury goods worldwide, has opened its newest flagship store in NYC’s Hudson Yards development on Manhattan’s West Side. Avcon worked closely with Related Companies and their base building team to support the ground-up construction of the entirely new building and systems as they relate to Neiman Marcus specific applications. Avcon designed the MEP systems to work with a state-of-the-art energy management system to ensure an energy efficient and environmentally conscientious store.

Charming Shoppes Headquarters
Avcon worked with the retail holding company to upgrade their headquarters before the company’s acquisition by Ascena. Avcon worked on the design of a state-of-the-art energy management system that resulted in an additional 20% efficiency in equipment operation and energy savings. The new system was provided to manage the operation of multiple HVAC units including those on the four office floors, rooftop, and data center, as well as all zone VAV boxes. The system provided a single user-friendly interface that can be used for different control protocols of the existing equipment.
